The ORB Model

Our priority is developing long-term value and exit strategies for our entrepreneurs and cornerstone investors.  In conjunction with each of our portfolio companies, we determine the most appropriate method and the optimal timing for their planned exit strategy.

A typical client will mirror the following development model:

  1. Complete preliminary due diligence
  2. Determine the most appropriate funding and commercalisation milestones
  3. Appoint an ORB partner as a non-executive director
  4. Secure the seed investment for the client
  5. Begin intensive commercalisation and secure additional funding, if necessary
  6. Appoint a Nomad/Broker and other professional advisors to:
    • Conduct institutional roadshow
    • List on AIM and/or ASX
    • Seek continued institutional support

We understand the challenges or potential investee companies can face over the typical 1-3 year period, from the first ORB investment, to a public listing, to the two years post-listing where building the aftermarket value is paramount.

Our model is designed to create the maximum possible underlying value in each of our portfolio companies and implement the means by which that value can be realised.
